Legal entity: The Ambo Family Trust & The Trustee for Hutz Trust (ABN 32 120 092 723), trading as AH Airconditioning & Electrical.

Effective date: 1 June 2026    Last updated: 1 June 2026

AH Airconditioning & Electrical provides air conditioning installation, service, maintenance and repairs, together with electrical services, for residential and commercial clients. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy is prepared in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). It explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, the cookies and online-advertising technologies we use, and the choices and rights available to you.

1. Personal Information We Collect

When you engage with us, we may collect personal information necessary to provide our services, including:

  • Name;
  • Email address;
  • Phone number;
  • Physical address (including the installation or service address); and
  • Details of your enquiry and the products or services requested.

We collect this information directly from you through website forms (including quote and contact forms), phone calls, emails, and direct communication. We also automatically collect certain technical and usage information when you visit our website — see section 4, Cookies, Tracking Technologies and Online Advertising.

2. Dealing With Us Anonymously

Where it is lawful and practicable to do so, you may deal with us anonymously or using a pseudonym — for example, when making a general enquiry. However, we will usually need your contact details and address to arrange a service call, prepare a quote, or carry out installation, service or electrical work, and we may be unable to provide those services without them.

3. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide quotes and deliver the products and services you have requested;
  • Communicate with you about your enquiry, booking, job or order;
  • Enhance and tailor our service offerings;
  • Measure, deliver and improve our advertising and understand how visitors use our website; and
  • Meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

We will only use your information for a purpose for which it was collected, a directly related purpose you would reasonably expect, or another purpose to which you have consented or which is permitted by law.

4. Cookies, Tracking Technologies and Online Advertising

Our website uses cookies, web beacons, pixels and similar tracking technologies to operate the site, understand how visitors use it, and to deliver and measure advertising. Some of these technologies are provided by third parties, and information about your activity on our website is collected by and shared with those third parties for advertising, remarketing and marketing purposes. The services we use include:

  • Microsoft Advertising (Bing) — Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag. Microsoft collects information about your visit (pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location, IP address, and device/browser data) to measure ad performance and to show you our ads across the Microsoft Advertising Network, including Bing and partner sites — known as remarketing (retargeting).
  • Google — Google Analytics and Google Ads. Google collects similar information to measure traffic and ad performance and to show you our ads across Google Search, the Google Display Network and partner sites (remarketing).
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — the Meta Pixel. Meta collects information about your visit to measure ad performance and to show you our ads across Facebook, Instagram and the Meta Audience Network (remarketing).

Through these tools, your information may be combined by these providers with other data they hold to deliver more relevant advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices — how to opt out:

For more information, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement, the Google Privacy Policy, and the Meta Privacy Policy.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it to:

  • Service providers who assist in our operations and service delivery (such as technicians, subcontractors, IT and hosting providers);
  • Analytics and advertising providers (such as Microsoft Advertising, Google and Meta) via the tracking technologies described above, to measure and deliver advertising and remarketing;
  • Law enforcement, regulators or government bodies when required or authorised by law; and
  • Other parties where necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of AH Airconditioning & Electrical, our clients, or the public.

6. Overseas Disclosure

Some of the service providers above (including Microsoft, Google and Meta) are located outside Australia, including in the United States. By using our website and services, you consent to the disclosure of your information to these overseas recipients for the purposes described in this policy. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

7. Data Security

We protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure using reasonable technical and organisational security measures. While we take care to safeguard your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet our service, legal, accounting and tax obligations. When personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify it.

9. Data Breaches

We maintain procedures to detect, assess and respond to data breaches. If a breach of personal information is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

10. Access, Correction and Deletion

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. You may also request deletion of your personal information, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain it. To make a request, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days.

11. Complaints
