Conditions to maintain warranty
- Installed by an authorised installer — ARCtick-licensed + Mitsubishi accredited. AH Aircon meets both.
- Annual service past year 2. Documented service certificate from a licensed installer.
- Not modified by an unlicensed person. Any DIY refrigerant work or unauthorised electrical voids warranty.
- Original purpose use. Residential units can’t be used in industrial environments — voids warranty.
- Registered with Mitsubishi. We register the system at install — takes 5 minutes via the Mitsubishi installer portal.
What the warranty covers
- Indoor unit components (PCB, fan motor, sensors, blower)
- Outdoor unit components (compressor, fan motor, capacitor, PCB)
- Refrigerant pipework provided by Mitsubishi (if supplied)
- Indoor + outdoor coils
- Controllers (wired and wireless)
- Labour for warranty repairs
What’s NOT covered
- Wear-and-tear consumables (filters, batteries)
- Damage from storm, lightning, flood, impact — covered by your home insurance instead
- Refrigerant top-ups — treated as maintenance, not defect
- Damage from unlicensed work or unauthorised modifications
- Damage from operation outside specified environment (extreme cold, salt spray, vermin)
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents from external impact)
